The spiritual foundation of Chura Shareef was laid by Hazrat Khwaja Noor Muhammad (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ), also known as Baba Jee Churahi, who migrated from Terah Shareef to Dradar village in 1845 CE and subsequently settled in Chura Shareef in 1867 CE.
